Our mission at Howa Foundation is to help children and young people from South Asian communities to thrive and prosper. South Asia has the largest number of chronically poor people in the world - through direct projects, fundraising initiatives and working with both local and international organisations we aim to help these young people and their families out of poverty in order to improve their quality of life.

This Ramadan 2021, please help us to raise some much needed funds. Our Emergency Food Project is for single parents (Women) and their families in Bangladesh where 35 million, which is around 56% of the child population, currently lives below the poverty line. This poverty is widespread and these children are deprived in basic needs such as food, sanitation and shelter. As most of these disadvantaged families live in rural areas, they have also been disproportionately impacted by the Coronavirus Pandemic.
