Story
Buzz is one half of my two springers, Woody and Buzz, brothers who are 3yrs old.
Buzz is the most energetic, full of life spaniel and he is also very affectionate. Buzz started to lose weight the last few months and when we took him to the vet they ran some tests and confirmed he had cancer. The vet examined him and told us there was a large tumour in his stomach.
Buzz is insured so we claimed through insurance so he could see an Oncologist Vet, they ran more tests and it was then confirmed he had Lymphoma in most of his organs.
We had it confirmed that it is B Cell Lymphoma so we have decided as Buzz is still so young and full of life to give him the best chance to fight this.
He will never be cured of this cancer but if we can get him through to remission for a few months or hopefully years this would be amazing.
Although insured Buzz was only covered for £1000 per condition so that has already gone on the tests.
I have saved £2000 but I am unable to raise the remaining funds myself, his treatment vet is 160 mile round trip so any spare cash will be going on diesel to get him there weekly.
Buzz is my baby, he isn't just a pet to me, he helps me with my anxiety and keeps me right, that's why it's so important to me.
Thank you for reading and anything you can spare will go a long way.
FiFi and Buzz xx

2 years agoA little update, Buzz still has a sore tummy after this weeks chemo so we may have to go back to the vets in Hillsborough before his next dose to settle him down again, he is still in good spirits and has just had lots of cuddles. #dogswithlymphoma #dogs #hopeforbuzz

2 years agoWe had a trip to Hillsborough not to see the King but to have another round of chemotherapy. Buzz's bloods showed good results, he has gained 1kg in weight and upon examination his lymphnodes around his neck had gotten smaller all very positive signs that the chemotherapy is doing it's job! We celebrated the good news on the way home with a free run at the top of Benbradagh Mountain and we watched the sunset together, something on Buzz's bucket list. Please keep spreading the message thank you so much. Love FiFi and Buzz xx

2 years agoBuzz has spent the day cuddling with his brother Woody on the sofa, he had the other half of his chemotherapy yesterday in tablet form which we gave him at home, it's very toxic and it means we must be careful he doesn't lick us for about 72hrs after. Thank you for all who have donated it really helps us fight the good fight for Buzz xx
