What a fantastic surprise we got, a message of support from our Ex Prime Minister, Mr Boris Johnson, and our local MP Mr Nigel Adams. Thank you

An award for all our hard work makes it all worth while.

Good friends, Stuart, Ian, Pete and Mitch have just returned from delivering Humanitarian aid to a Monastery and hospital in Kyiv. The trip was successful and are now preparing for there next trip on the 3rd June. Because they were running two days behind after the fiasco in London they sadly had to split up into two teams to make sure both hospitals and monaster Got there deliveries. Stuart says “ i had to make that decision based on time left before returning to the UK”. Stuart told Pete and Ian to deliver to the monastery while Stuart delivered emergency medical supplies to the hospital in Kyiv. From Lviv to Kyiv it was a 9 hour drive and it wasnt a straightforward drive there were military checkpoints all the way to Kyiv so he decided to stay over in a hotel before setting off the next morning.

Once in Kyiv Stuart delivered his aid to the hospital and was treated like a pop star. Within 10 minutes of his delivery the air rade siren blasted and then fear set in. Stuart says “It was scary because i also got a notificationon my phone informing me to go to the nearest bomb shelter which I thankfully did i just followed the Ukrainian people. This is what the Ukrainian peo have to live with every single day.

The Monastery where Ian and Pete delivered was heartbreaking. To see these children who have nothing was sad. Once they delivered there aid they had a meal and slept there for the night thanks to Sister Julie. The monastery has no gas supplies so we will help raise funds to build a gas pipeline for the monastery which is desperately needed.

We will sail from Hull on the 3rd June over to Amsterdam which gives the team a good nights sleep before an 10 hour drive to the Hotel Picaro which is in Poland. The following morning will be a 13 hour drive to the border of Ukrain. Once through the border they will stop at a friends house before travelling to the monastery the next morning. We will deliver this dog food on behalf of ROLDA To various dog shelters in lyiv and Kyiv.

This trip was not possible without your help, donations and support so thank you so much to each and every one of you. .
