Story
We need help with ongoing costs for Teddy.

Teddy was brought home to Shelter Sapica in very poor condition, underweight, hairless and some serious long term health issues which require expensive medication. It was suggested that his life was over, but Fata insisted that she would fight for him and nurse him back to good health.

He is being given vitamins, including vitamin D 500, and pure vitamin E which is made up for him in the pharmacy. Because of his skin condition Fata is wrapping all his body in bandages soaked in vitamin E. He also follows a special diet and medication for a thyroid condition along with a vet check every month. 6 months on Teddy is showing improvement and he is putting on weight.

Ideally Teddy is in need of sponsors, but if you can help meet his costs by donating any amount we would be very grateful.

Honor’s Shelter Sapica is situated in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is a private shelter for dogs saved from the streets, from the dog catchers, from death and from Praca public shelter. In Honor’s Shelter Sapica there are dogs who were once left to die, maltreated by uncaring owners or people on the streets. Here dogs are cared about, and they are given a chance to recover and have veterinary treatment. The aim is to find permanent homes for them through responsible adoption.
Honor’s Shelter Sapica is run by rescuers, Sejla Kadric and Fata Duric. It relies solely on the sponsorship of individual dogs and donations from kind supporters.
