Story

Holy Trinity Church has stood proudly in our community for over 180 years and has a rich heritage. Lots of work has been achieved to renovate and tidy the Graveyard by our wonderful community members, but your church needs your help! The Coronavirus Pandemic has hit church hard financially. Holy Trinity relies on donation giving, whether from donations given on the plate during services or through the parish giving scheme through direct debit payments, but as the church has been closed for the majority of 2020 and part of 2021, this money isn’t coming in. Holy Trinity has been a part of most peoples lives through, worship, school links, baptisms, weddings, and funerals. The church has touched people’s lives in this area since 1838.

Holy Trinity needs some building and conservation work completed in the next few years which will become urgent. To save this beautiful building, we need to raise funds to help pay for these works and the upkeep. Please consider making a donation no matter how small, every penny will help save this beautiful building for our community. We get no funding from the National Church or the Diocese.

If you can’t make a donation on here, but would like to donate, please contact the church via the Facebook page. Or if you are a professional tradesperson that could offer assistance please get in touch.
