I've raised £1275 to fund 2 HND Fine Art exhibitions. It is an integral part of our course, which gives us the essential knowledge and skills needed as artists.

Hello!
We are students from the HND Fine Art course at Birmingham City University, which is in partnership with BMET Sutton Coldfield College.
We are asked to put on two exhibitions of our work, which are completely self-funded. This is an integral part of the course, and it’s a huge learning curve as it teaches us everything that is involved in taking on such a venture. It provides us with the knowledge and skills necessary to do this in the future.
Our first exhibition will be in February 2018, which will be in the International New School Gallery, Jubilee Centre, Birmingham, and our second exhibition will be in May 2018 at Centrala Gallery, Digbeth, Birmingham.
The reason why we have two exhibitions is so that we can iron out any kinks in the first exhibition, which will help to ensure the summer exhibition is a success.
Please help us raise the necessary funds needed to put on these two exhibitions.
The photographs here are from ‘Alchemy’, our summer 2017 exhibition at Centrala Gallery. There were a variety of people who attended, including children from a secondary school. They were particularly inspired by the materials used and the effects created by them. It certainly gave them food for thought.

How The Funds Will Be Used
We really need your help to make this possible. The majority of the funds needed is to cover the hiring costs of the gallery spaces. Here is a breakdown of the where the money will be used:
We need to raise:
£ 500 - hiring International New School Gallery for 1 week
£ 810 - hiring Centrala Gallery for 3 weeks
£ 200 - printing catalogues for summer exhibitions, posters and flyers
£ 90 - drinks and refreshments for opening night
£ 150 - unexpected extra costs such as security, extra energy costs etc.
£1750 total
minus £ 475 - there will be a fee to exhibit in both exhibitions, raising £ 475
£1275 - total money needed
We will be using the college van for transportation, and we have the tools and equipment needed, so there shouldn't be any additional costs.

£15 Thank You! You will receive a collection of postcards by some of the artists, with their artwork printed on them in February 2018.
£40 A Big Thank You! You will have your name printed in our HND Fine Art Summer Exhibition 2018. You will also receive a collection of postcards from some of the artists showing their artwork in February 2018.
