I've raised £2000 to Help raise money for Harlington Juniors Football Club by doing a round the village run for 24 hours

Starting on June 24th at 12pm noon, the Harlington Juniors Football Club will start a 24 hour run around the Harlington village to raise money for the club. This was done by the adult team back in early 2021 with COVID restrictions but this year all age groups will be taking in part starting off with the Under 10 right the way through our 7 teams to both out adult teams as well as coaches, staff, parents, friends and supports to help get us through to 12pm Sunday 25th. This will be the clubs 3rd fund raise already this year with the U12 cycling the equivalent of London to Brighton on stationery bikes outside the local cafe as well as the adult team hosting a sports quiz in the village hall with both in total raising over £1000! With no COVID restriction this year we're hoping to make this run a real event with music, BBQ, games and interaction with the local community so please spread the word and get down to cheer on all the teams taking part, hopefully in the sunshine! This fund raising will help the club with the running costs of winter training, the cutting, marking and cleaning rubbish and dog mess off all 3 pitches, the maintaining of a clean and safe changing rooms a long side water and electricity bills, making sure bins are emptied and not over flowing, kit and training equipment as well as goals and corner flags these are just a few examples of the many finical outgoings to run a football club which many won't know about so all donations are greatly appreciated by all involved with Harlington Juniors
