High & Dry: From the heighest mountain in north Africa in freezing conditions, to the blistering heat and a 100k trek accross the Sahara Desert, 2.5 marathons over three days. Why? To raise funds and awareness for Faith in Families.

This February 2025, six men are coming together to take on an extraordinary challenge in the name of charity. High & Dry will see the team tackle two of the most extreme environments on Earth—scaling the frozen heights of Mount Toubkal in North Africa and trekking 100 kilometres across the blistering Sahara Desert. Their mission? To raise vital funds for Faith in Families, a charity dedicated to transforming the lives of children and families facing poverty, crisis, and trauma.

From the Icy Heights of North Africa…

We’ll kick off our journey by scaling the highest peak in North Africa, the majestic Mount Toubkal. This will be no ordinary climb, undertaken in the depths of winter, we’ll face freezing temperatures, snow, and ice as we push ourselves through the harsh conditions of the High Atlas Mountains.

…To the Scorching Sands of the Sahara Desert

Without pause, and no time to rest, we’ll head straight from the mountains to the desert to tackle a gruelling 100-kilometre trek across the unforgiving Sahara. Known as one of the hottest and driest places on Earth, the Sahara will test our resilience with intense heat, relentless sun, and the challenge of navigating through vast, shifting dunes.

Meet the Team

The group is made up of six determined individuals, each no stranger to taking on tough challenges: Brian Stokes, Jonathan Morgan, Ben Garvey, Daniel Morgan, Chris Weightman & Gareth Morgan

Between them, they’ve faced extreme challenges in their lives, testing their physical and mental endurance. However, this back to back adventure, with the sheer scale and intensity of High & Dry is a challenge like no other.
