UPDATE! After a further review of the work that is required (this time in daylight) it has been decided that £2000 will be needed to put the land right. The second fundraising is only for people that are unable to donate via Just Giving. We will need to replace the topsoil which has been washed away and lay turf. Chicken coops need to be replaced and stable roofing and guttering replaced. Paving slabs need to be laid and all damaged items removed from the site. A huge and heartfelt thank you to everyone who has donated. Your generosity is truly humbling. After a check of the work that will be required to restore all damage we feel that as an allotment we can do this with the donations already received. I also understand another funding page is in operation so we do not need any further donations and will allow them to continue.
