Highbridge and Burnham-on-Sea Carnival is part of the South-West Guy Fawkes circuit of Carnivals which take place every year at the beginning of November.

The event is steeped in tradition from the attempt made by Guy Fawkes and his followers to blow up the Houses of Parliament.

HboS Carnival Ltd are the committee who organises the event in our local area, which sees thousands of people lining the street on a cold winters evening to enjoy our unique and spectacular procession through the town.

The event itself costs thousands of pounds every year to organise and appearance or prize money given to every entrant and donations are also made to local organisations and charities. In 2019 over £6000 was donated by our Carnival to local and national good causes and charities.

We are asking for funds to enable us to carry on bringing this magnificent show to our town and for us to continue to be as generous as we can with donations to our supported organisations and charities.
