This JustGiving page is created for our beloved brother and close friend Hfz Faisal Patel (Engineer).

Hfz Faisal went back to his most merciful Lord Allah SWT in the early hours of Wednesday morning. He leaves behind a young family which will إن شاء الله carry on his legacy for generations to come.

He was without doubt one of the most jovial, humorous and wonderful human beings you could come across; both inwardly and outwardly. Full of jokes, laughs and would ensure everyone around him always remained happy and positive.

He was also a very religious sole; one who had learnt the whole Quran off by heart... and boy did he know it! His Quran memory was second to none and Subhanallah he could rattle off verses without thinking twice. Saying this he led people in Taraweeh with love and affection for many many years with stints in Preston Masjids; Jamea and Eldon Street. Together with this he also taught in the Jamea Madrassah and was liked by both teachers and pupils due to his loving, kind and humorous nature.

Alhamdulillah the collection we are doing is for a means of Sadqa-e-Jariyah for our brother, إن شاء الله

The Messenger of Allah ‎ﷺ so beautifully said, ‘Whoever constructs a masjid for Allah, Allah will construct a house for him in Paradise’. (Bukhari)

Therefore, In memory of our Hfz Faisal we have decided the best way to honour him would be to raise money to build a Masjid with wudhu facilities in one of the poorest places in India; West Bengal. A Masjid is at the heart of any local Muslim community. It provides a place for its worshippers to pray and contemplate, as well as being a hub for educational programmes and other everyday services. Beyond that, the role of the Masjid is to help people extend their knowledge of Islam and to nurture their moral and spiritual development. This masjid will have toilet and wudhu facilities and will accommodate up to 175 people.

By building a Masjid you will not only earn the reward of providing a community with the necessity of a house of Allah, but your Sadaqa-e-Jariyah will continue to flourish, benefit and reward Hfz Faisal in his grave. And from experience I can firmly say that if we support these types of causes, Allah The Most Powerful will create similar means for us when we leave this world.
