I've raised £5000 to enable Huddersfield Feral and Strays to purchase Small Animal Oxygen Masks for use by rescue services within West Yorkshire.

There are over 40,000 house fires each year and nearly 50% of household in the UK have pets. It is a tragic fact that pets die in these fires or as a direct result of smoke inhalation. There are also situations where animals require Oxygen therapy after being subjected to stressful situations, these could be for example, being trapped, attacked or being involved in road traffic accidents. With the new regulations coming into effect where animals have to be restrained properly when travelling this means that should they been involved in an accident they would be unlikely to escape and be trapped inside the vehicle.
We are wanting to raise £5000 to enable Huddersfield Feral and Strays to purchase Recovery Oxygen Mask Kits for use by rescue services within West Yorkshire. These kits have been proven to save lives and we want to ensure that more lives can be saved.
The Recovery Oxygen Mask Kits come with 3 different size oxygen masks to cater for different size animals, each mask has dual vents on the sides to allow unrestricted inhalation and exhalation, this allows the animal to get the correct amount of oxygen needed.
Pet Remedy have also kindly joined us on this campaign and are providing their calming wipes to the kits to try and alleviate stresses on the animals.
Since starting our rescue on 31/12/2016 we have rescued over 980 cats and kittens in the Huddersfield and surrounding areas. We feel that with this campaign we can not only save many more cats and kittens but also other pets as well like Dogs, Rabbits and small pets.
We receive no funding from any organisation and rely on donations from our many supporters along with our proceeds from our fundraisers. 100% of all money raised goes towards the care and veterinary treatment of the kitties we deal with.
Please help support our campaign and help us achieve our target. Because every Paw is Precious!
