In January 2018 Hesketh Bank Silver Band made the decision to start a training band to enable people of all ages to come and learn a brass instrument. This would help ensure the long term survival of Hesketh Bank Silver Band and brass instrumental playing in the wider area.

The organisation is committed to running this free of charge for anyone who wants to join, the main band also is without fees or subscription. However, we do need some help as we have now had so many new members through the door we have run out of instruments and would like to purchase some new, beginner friendly instruments.

In order to help us reach our target of a self sufficient, vibrant training band we are asking the general public for any donation which they feel they can give to our cause.
