I'm sure as many of you will be aware, our good friend Michael Hennings and Surbiton Head Squash Coach was diagnosed with cancer in the late spring of 2023. With the love of his Wife Kate, two young girls Freya and Evie and the support of his friends, Mike has been fighting amazingly; having gone through three rounds of very tough chemotherapy cycles and recently having some very positive scans, showing a reduction in the size of the tumours across the board.

Despite this, unfortunately his battle is not over... With Mike being self-employed, this is putting a massive financial strain on his family so we, a small group of his friends, are attempting to raise a bit of money to try and support Mike an family during this really hard time.

Six of us from Surbiton Squash Club are getting together to complete the Spartan Trial (https://uk.spartan.com/en/race/beast), 21km and 30 trying obstacles... It would be fantastic if you could help us raise some money to support our friend and his young family. Thanks you in advance...
