Teachers at Hemsworth Academy are aiming to raise £1000 to support a student and his family who is receiving treatment in London for his condition.

The teachers and staff will walk 15miles from The Blacksmiths Arms in Grangemoor to Hemsworth Academy.

On behalf of Sherburn netball club we have raised £53.15 towards the appeal. Tonight we held a charity netball match with players wearing Christmas jumpers and even a turkey hat!
