In the end of February 2018 I will be visiting refugees in Zataari Refugee camp - the largest refugee camp in Jordan which has now become Jordan's 3rd largest city with more than 80,000 refugees! Dependent on the amount raised the funds would either go towards: buying essentials (food, water, clothing) or supporting education/healthcare at the camp. I will provide frequent updates regarding what the funds are going to be spent for.

The reasoning behing the target amount of £1000 is the fact that there is only 2 weeks left until my visit, and raising at least £1000 is reasonable in such a short period of time. Obviously, the more money is raised - the bigger impact we can make! Please donate for this worthy cause. Every little helps!

Syria has been in turmoil and in the middle of a brutal civil war since the summer of 2011.

More than 250,000 people have been killed to date and a third of the population has been displaced within Syria while more than 4 million people have fled the country.

The situation in Syria is getting worse by the day thousands have been fleeing the country, leaving behind their homes and belongings to find safety across the borders in Jordan and Lebanon. Innocent men, women and children are caught up in a conflict with no end in sight. We have a duty as human beings to do as much as we can to protect innocent lives and provide as much support as we can to those fleeing the conflict. Jordan has taken in more than 600,000 refugees.
