Story

Hi!
I am trying to raise money to pay towards specialist therapy & specialist apparatus that are not provided by the NHS for my young Daughter.

Maddison was born with Quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy & Severe refractory Epilepsy, this means she cannot walk, sit unaided or support her own weight and movements. Sadly she also suffers with a visual impairment and cannot talk or communicate.

The specialist therapy is to help supplement the current physiotherapy she gets from her health care team. Unfortunately due to NHS staff resources and facilities her current physiotherapist cannot offer the extra therapy she desperately needs.

The specialist apparatus she requires is a supportive sitting aid. She is quickly outgrowing her current sitting aid, which she uses daily. This allows her to sit at a table at meal times, sit independently on the floor to play with toys and do activities.
If possible, I would also like to help fund towards a specialist mobility chair, this is an automated chair that would be controlled by Maddison - hopefully this will allow her some extra independence that she is craving as she gets older. Currently she has to rely on myself or her Mummy to move her around and about which is very frustrating for her.

To hopefully raise the money for these I will be participating in various challenges throughout August 2019;
1. 10k run everyday throughout August. (31 days)
2. The Yorkshire 3-Peaks Challenge (Saturday 10th August).
3. Cycle 100 miles from Hull to Scarborough (Saturday 31st August).

Any amount of money donated would be very much appreciated.
Thank You.
