I've raised £1750 to Help Tink Hear

Having been born with Nystagmus and Myopia, I, Theresa (known to many as Tink) was registered severely sight impaired in 2008. Trained with my 1st guide dog in 2009. When i discovered i was pregnant with my second child. Since then i have been through a relationship breakup, trained with my second guide dog and started to retrain to become a counsellor.
My sight loss would not stop me from being the independant (somewhat stubborn) mum of two That i am today...... That was until about 18 months ago when i recieved the horrid news that i am going deaf.
For aomeone who has always relied so heavily on my hearing to make up for my ever decreasing sight I started to ‘miss’ things, I started to struggle just walking the kids to school.
I now wear 2 digital nhs hearing aids, which after a tricky period of adjustment; I am getting the hang of.
These have made an improvement to my life, but I feel I could improve it further. Through friendships I came to hear of Resound and in particular Lynx 2 hearing aids, aids that would link directly with my phone and ipad, where calls, music, audio and more importantly directions from google maps could be streamed directly into my ears. I would also be able to adjust the volumn, bass, treble and even direction from an app.
However, like all great things, these cost money! Rather a lot of money! Just over £4,000 to be exact! Or rather they were before they were superceeded and then subsequently reduced in price!
I have previoisly undertake fundraising that saw me climb a cheese-grater (The nickname of one of Londons iconic skyscrapers) So am now just £2,300 away from my target.
Can you help me? However small, all the pennies will add up. Thank you for taking the time to read my page. Here is a short video that has inspired me to achieve my goal and get these hearing aids.
