Sacha Dench had a mid-air collision during the final stage of her 3,000-mile Round Britain Climage Challenge ahead of the COP26 Conference.

She has been badly injured and only yesterday underwent a 18h surgery on her left leg. There are many more bones still to heal and many more surgeries will follow. The road to recovery has only just started...
