Iʼm raising £12,500 to Help get my cousin Robyn back to the UK for urgent medical care.

Don't have time to donate right now?

Story

My cousin Robyn, aged 34, was enjoying a long-awaited holiday in Spain when tragedy struck. She suffered a devastating stroke, followed by two brain haemorrhages, one of which has left her with permanent brain damage.

Robyn spent two harrowing weeks in a coma and, though she has regained wakefulness, she faces a daunting battle ahead. She is paralysed on her right side, unable to speak, and cannot respond to simple requests. Every passing day without specialized care diminishes her chances of recovery.

Robyn urgently needs to return to the UK to receive life-changing neuro-rehabilitation—care that she is not covered for under her GHIC card in Spain. This rehabilitation could help her regain some independence and improve her quality of life, but it is only available to her, in the UK.

We, her family, have exhausted all government channels for financial assistance. Despite our relentless efforts, there has been no support to cover the significant costs of her medical repatriation. This leaves us with no option but to turn to the kindness and generosity of others.

The cost of a medical repatriation is overwhelming for our family, but it is Robyn’s only chance to access the care she so desperately needs. Every donation, no matter how small, will bring us one step closer to getting Robyn home where she belongs.

Robyn is a fighter, but she cannot face this challenge alone. Please help us bring Robyn back to the UK so she can begin the long road to recovery with the support and care she deserves.

Your generosity and support will mean the world to Robyn and our family. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping us bring her home.

How You Can Help:

• Donate to our just giving page.

• Share Robyn’s story with your friends, family, and networks.

Together, we can give Robyn the chance she needs to rebuild her life. Thank you.

***Robyn Update*** Robyn arrived back in the UK via Road Ambulance on Tuesday 7th Jan thanks to Jim Quinn and his team at 000 Medical Repatriation. After a couple of days of orientation and rest Robyn is responding well to her new surroundings. A full rehabilitation plan is underway and we remain positive and hopeful. We again would like to thank everyone for their tremendous support. Robyn’s family

*** YOU HAVE DONE IT *** You the people have helped us reach our target funds so that my Auntie & Uncle can organise and facilitate Robyn's repatriation back to the UK so she can start her recovery, rehabilitation and healing process. We will forever be grateful for your generosity and kindness at one of the hardest times of the year - Xmas time. So from our family to yours, have a very merry xmas and a happy new year and be rest assured that without your love and support, we couldn't have done any of this. With love, Robyns family. ❤️🙏🏼
