House fire

Our friend, Jane Matthews, has had a very difficult experience and we'd like to help.

On Monday 22nd March, her flat caught fire and was badly damaged, as were most of her belongings. Sadly, and despite the fantastic efforts of the local fire brigade, three of her four cats were killed by the smoke. We especially thank the fire brigade crew for the efforts they put into finding all four cats and their care and first aid that ensured one of them survived, against all odds.One cat, Dali, has survived.

Jane has lost most of her belongings through fire/smoke damage and we, her friends, have put together this crowd funder to give you an opportunity to show your support.

Although being fiercely independent, Jane has somewhat reticently gave us permission to crowdfund on her behalf. Jane is presently staying with friends and family.

How can you help ?

We'd love to show Jane that she lives in a great community that cares about her. This fund will go towards helping Jane with getting herself back on her feet after this very traumatic and financially challenging experience.
