When our little boy was born, it was noticed that there were some problems with his little head.

We discovered that he had no fontanelles (soft spots) and almost all of his skull was fused closed. This is not normal, and as we found out, can be very dangerous.

In the beginning it was very concerning, but thanks to the neurologists, and neurosurgeons, we now know with the help of x rays and CT scans, that he will not need major surgery to fix this, which is nothing short of fantastic!

However, due to the way his skull has formed, it is the wrong shape and will continue to get worse as he grows if we do not do something to help.

Specially made helmets are available but not on the NHS.

We want to give Joseph the best life and want to help him by fixing his skull.

The cost of the helmet/scans/consultations is a little over £2000 and that is where we need your help.

Every penny we get, could help him get a helmet, and allow him to have a beatifully normal shaped skull when he grows up.

He has had a rough start in his little life and deserves anything thay will make his life better long term.
