In the early hours of Sunday morning my daughter's surprise car was hit by a driver who didn't leave any details. When we woke up that day a friend rang us with tge terrible news. Instead of being excited about getting ready to surprise Emily we had to make a phone call that went "you know we said we hadn’t got you a car as we couldn’t insure it? Well we had got you a car and had insured it but someone has possibly written it off overnight and not left any details."  This was then followed by floods of tears and even more tears when she got back and actually saw it. She didn’t even get to sit in it let alone drive it and will probably have to take the hit on her own insurance even though this isn’t her fault. She needs a car to get to work by mid November at the latest and we don’t have the money to do this. Also because of this driver's cowardly/illegal approach to this situation it is holding up repairs or payout if they deem her car a write off. As the Facebook appeal hasn't shamed them into coming forward one of her friends suggested we start a justgiving site to try and help her get her wheels back and enjoy the success of passing her test just 3 days earlier. So here it is....

Just a little more information. She is an apprentice hairdresser who saved most of the money to purchase this car. None of us have the funds to pay for the repairs or purchase another car.
