I've raised £1000 to help fund a new baby and toddler group and donate to Graves disease research

So there's always a story so get comfortable..... This year when I run on the 22nd May I will be raising money for 2 causes which are very special to me. 1) After setting up and co-leading the toddler group at my children's school post covid I went into my local community centre, Sale West to share a poster of an event coming up. I was devastated to find out the baby group I'd previously attended had stopped due to lockdown and never returned. The group was a lifeline for me and there are many families missing out on such an important group for babies, young children and their carers. I have met with the project manager, have a group of willing volunteers and am currently applying for grants to get a stay and play group set back up. I will donate 3/4 of my sponsorship money to go towards the setting up and running costs of the group. 2) My running training partner who managed to convince me to sign up to the 2021 MCR 10K alongside her has recently been diagnosed with graves disease. She got a girl who remembered to apply make up rather than pack parts of her PE kit so had to borrow from the spare box, hated cross country and only joined in athletics the year I was leaving (Mrs Jenkins and Mrs Earl would be so proud) to run 10K across Manchester!! Sadly my running partner started to feel unable to run after Christmas and she has since been diagnosed with Graves disease. I will donate 1/4 of my sponsorship to a Thyroid charity.
I will share proof of transfers.
Once again I thank you in advance for any donations to my causes, every penny counts! Please share with any connections to Sale, thyroid difficulties and any businesses who may be interested in supporting the stay and play group.
My goal is to run this year's 10K quicker than 2021!!
