Story
On the 25th October 2020 I'm taking part in the rescheduled Derby 10K race to raise money for a new fund which has been set up by Derby City Sport Forum to help youngsters gain access to sporting opportunities.The idea of the new fund is to give children and young people in Derby City an opportunity to take part in or attend sporting experiences that they might not normally have the chance to do. As we move out of lock-down and begin to recover from the Covid-19 pandemic, children and young people, more than ever, will need support to regain their confidence and self esteem and sport plays a major role in this. 4 years agoWell I did the Virtual Derby 10K 2020 today, it wasn't very fast and it didn't feel very virtual 😅 but it's done! Thanks so much for the generous donations.

4 years agoThe Derby 10k 2020 has now been cancelled, however I will still be running a 'virtual' Derby 10K during the week commencing 19th October. I'll let you know when I have completed this run and share my screenshot (maybe I'll not show the time it took me, I'm not so fast) to prove I've actually completed it! So the good news is you can still donate to my Just Giving page :)

5 years agoAs I'm sure you're all aware the Derby 10k which was due to happen today has been postponed. However I'm still training for it and I do intend to run if I'm available on the new date, if not I'll run 10k anyway so feel free to donate. 🏃🏽♀️
