Story
As many of our followers will know, our good friend Clem Pettitt, Norris Green campaigner and co-founder of FoNGP sadly passed away recently.
With the permission of Clem's family, we have launched this crowd funder to raise money toward the cost of buying & installing a memorial bench in the park to celebrate Clem's life and provide a quiet place of contemplation where we can all come to remember him, his work to save & improve the park, and the wider work and campaigning he did for the people and our community of Norris Green.
Every contribution however small will help us reach our goal - thank you from everyone at FoNGP xx

1 year agoWe are pleased to let you know that Clem's bench will be installed in the sunken garden in the park on Sat 29 July 2023. The bench will be officially unveiled at 1:00 p.m. by Clem's family and close friends. You are very welcome to come along to the unveiling and to have a cuppa with us afterwards in the community hub. Please RSVP to friendsofngp@gmail.com before Tuesday 25 July so that we have the numbers for refreshments. Looking forward to seeing you there.

2 years agoThanks to everyone who has donated for Clem's bench. With your help, we have now reached the target! The process will now begin to order the bench and have it installed in the sunken garden, near one of Clem's favourite parts of the park.
