Story

The main pupil toilets have been in need of refurbishment for a long time, in fact, many of the parents who once came to the school will know that they haven’t changed very much in many years. Unfortunately the school is not in a financial position to fund a refurbishment, but the PTA has been working hard to raise funds for this much needed work.

We would like to provide the pupils with a bright and modern facility with a more open plan layout. This gives more visibility in to the toilets making it easier to supervise the area and removing the opportunity for any potential anti-social behaviour.

Over £3000 has already been raised through successful events such as the Christmas Fayre and a Race Night. Peter Harrington (Chair of the PTA) even did a sponsored beard shave and hair cut.

While we are still a long way off meeting the target, we are hopeful that the work could take place during 2019 and so we are reaching out to our school community for help and support.

Anything that you could give would be most appreciated.

Thank you on behalf of the PTA and the school.
