A community defibrillator located in the right place can be the difference between life and death. Whilst there are some defibrillators in our area, there are none that are available 24 hours a day in this part of Halesowen. That's why we're fundraising to install one at The Hawne Tavern, which is within easy reach of well over 900 homes in the vicinity.

Defibrillator's usually cost around £1500. Once we have raised the money, which will come from a mix of personal donations online, a collection at the Hawne Tavern, and donations from organisations, it will be installed on the side of the building so it can be accessed by anybody. If there is a life threatening situation, 999 operators can give callers the code to open the cabinet and instructions on how to use the life saving equipment.
