Dear Friends

In April, I will be traveling to Cuba with a group of Cubans who live in the UK. We going to participate in the Nation and Emigration 2020 conference in Havana. While we are there, we are hoping to donate to an old peoples’ home in Havana. We want to buy a television for the elderly residents in the home. I hope you don’t see this as a ‘handout’. It is a small gesture, in the midst of the tightening of the United States blockade, designed to squeeze the Cuban population so they suffer. It is a message of solidarity and love for Cuba and its people.
