Story

Hartley, 9 years old, will be climbing 3 peaks in one day

to raise money for essential sports and outdoor play equipment for his primary school in Redbrook. On Monday 10th April (now Saturday due to incoming weather warning!), the eve of his 10th birthday, he will be walking up The Blorenge (1,841ft), Sugar Loaf (1,955ft) + The Skirrid (1,594ft), and practising football tricks at the peak of each one.

The money raised will go towards outdoor equipment for the children's play area in Redbrook School. With schools in England + Wales being worryingly underfunded, there is a real struggle to keep key facilities running. Hartley has a passion for being outdoors (and football!) and wishes to raise money for the school so he and his fellow school friends can continue enjoying playing outside. Hartley has asked all of his classmates what they would like to see in the outdoor area and the money raised will go towards a new netball stand, basket balls, chess table, board games, space hoppers, cricket bats + balls, scooter boards and a football goal or two.
