Story
We‘ve set up this fundraising page to raise money for the Northern Ireland Kidney Research Fund and to support the great work of the Belfast City Hospital Renal Unit.
Many of you may have seen or heard on the news that during this uncertain and unsettling time of Covid 19, the Renal department in the City Hospital have been working wonders with completing just under 30 kidney transplants within two weeks. We were fortunate enough that one of those transplants was for dad, Banka, or as most of you know him- Harry! We cannot thank the team at the City Hospital enough and wish to raise some money to support their work and that of the the Kidney research team NI.
Colin, Harry‘s Son-in-law is going to run 28kms, one for every kidney transplant completed in Belfast during Lockdown so far! Please if you can, donate to this very worthy cause as we all raise a socially distanced toast to Harry wishing him the best in his recovery and for what will hopefully be a new lease of life.
