This October I planned to run Cardiff Half Marathon as a personal challenge. Since deciding to take part my Nana's fight with cancer became more difficult than ever. My nana was unexpectedly admitted to Singleton hospital then transferred to Neath hospital a week later. Both hospitals have been amazing however the support and compassion witnessed during her stay at Ward E, Neath Port Talbot Hospital was unforgettable. The staff made every effort to make sure my nana and my family were as comfortable as could be during the last week of my Nana's life. I would like to raise money by way of thanking the Ward and giving them the opportunity to improve the patients experience or that of families who spend many sleepless nights with their loved ones like myself and my family did. No donation is too small, my nana is not the first and definitely won't be the last to receive end of life care from this Ward, let's make the experience that little bit better for every patient and their family. ---- THANKS AGAIN WARD E you have made this difficult time that little more bearable.
