As a family we believe in community. We are part of Manchester Vineyard church who also believe in community. The church is based in one of the most deprived areas in not just Manachester but the country. Childhood poverty amongst other things is a massive issue in this area. As a community of people we want to see this changed. We have an opportunity to purchase an old youth centre and restore it and in doing so use it as a safe place for people to come and be restored, encouraged, supported and bring change for good. And this is why we The Reed Family want to do a sponsored swim to do out bit to help raise funds for this much needed project to take off and be a safe space and 'living room' for individuals, families and communities to come be known and to and know they are loved supported, empowered and blessed.
