There has been a young man sleeping rough in Burnham On Sea for the last few days. This would give him a room for a week so he can find himself somewhere permanent to live and get himself back on his feet.
Feed back from everyone who has met this young man has been so positive about how polite and grateful he has been. we have a 'pay it forward scheme 'at a local cafe and he did not want to use it more than once as he felt guilty.
he had his coat stolen this week - you may remember how wet & cold it was last night!
Hands of change Burnham and surrounding area volunteers & supporters have found him a replacement coat and some extra clothes. he is bowled over by the fact that he has somewhere comfortable and warm to sleep tonight, the opportunity to shower and the luxury of being able to make himself a hot drink.
if you wish to make a donation however large or small then please do. it is great to see with everything else going on that there are still people out there willing to show kindness & humanity to other humans(especially without judging).
