Retired Kent Police Dog RPD Parker is very poorly and is undergoing lifesaving treatment at the world leading specialist veterinary hospital.

You might remember that Parker had to have his spleen removed several years ago and you guys were fantastic and we managed to contribute towards the costs.

I know it is a HUGE ask but we are asking you again to dig deep and donate any spare change to Parker again. A week ago Parker became very unwell, his back end collapsed and he was referred as an emergency to be admitted, he has remained in doggy hospital since.

He is very poorly and may require spinal surgery which could amount to £15K. Currently the vets are trying to get him better from a serious internal infection requiring two separate IV antibiotics which need to be given to him for at least a week.

If you do not know retired police dogs (or any service dogs) do not get any financial support after service, it is down to the new homes (who can not insure dogs who have street bite history) or for charities to raise money.

This is not supposed to be a sob story here but many of you might know my partner had a heart attack in September and is still signed off work, so the buffer of extra funds from their income to support Parker is not there currently either!

We are as a family working hard to raise funds ourselves, but if you could even just share this fundraiser it would mean the world to us all.
