after surviving cancer twice then 4 months out of remission losing my house to a cruel and unregulated private renting sector i found my self homeless on the streets of folkestone .

rather than just be another statistic i decided to walk with my 6 dogs over 8.000 miles around the entire coast of the uk raising money for children with cancer

the money raised will not go to a big charity or research companys that by all reasoning should have found a cure by now it is my belief that a cure isnt profitable to them also big charitys only about 5%of funds go to the actual people involved while the rest ends up in the pocket of a fat cat chief executive .

my starting point was the folkstone leas cliff pavilion on the 24/12/2017 and am currently making my way clockwise around the uk coast line the finishing point in about 2 and a half years will be folkestone leas cliff pavilion .

so far this walk has already been full of adventure and the communitys have really been amazing and rallied around to help as much as possible

i hope to meet you all along the way

the main aim of the walk is to provide special moments memories for children with terminal cancer holidays abroad and to create some amazing lasting memories for these brave children and the amazing familys i only ask that you could help by joining liking sharing and donating to the gump family justgiving page
