Story
Last weekend one of our players, AJ, was injured badly whilst playing and is likely to be in hospital for a considerable period of time. AJ has suffered a ruptured spleen and internal bleeding which has led to further serious complications. So far he has been through two surgical procedures, but with the full extent of his injuries yet unknown there is potential for more in the near future. AJ has been in intensive care for 3 days, but will hoping to be moved to another ward soon. Like many social rugby players AJ is self employed, as a result these injuries will have a serious impact financially on AJ whilst he is unable to work. The Guildfordians squad are trying to raise what funds we can to support a fellow player going through a tough time. If you are able to help in any small way, the club and AJ's teammates would be very grateful.
Many thanks, Guildfordians RFC
