Story
Unfortunately the Greville Smyth park swings in Bristol are being taken down soon as funding for the swings from the council has been lost. The current swings are too old to keep up so therefore being taken down. So many children enjoy these swings and it would be a shame for them to disappear. So please help the friends of the park to get them built again!!! Thank you so much.

8 years agoThanks so much for your generous donations so far! We have hit the 10% £1000 mark in just 5 days so if this keeps up we should be able to get the swings back before we even noticed that they were gone!!! @Simon King - you're absolutely right, we shouldn't have to fund this privately but the funding isn't there at the moment and it's with such community spirit that we can on regardless.
