Story
From Monday 23rd March, pupils from schools across the Greenshaw Learning Trust will begin being educated from home. To enable our pupils to have access to the very best learning resources our teachers have been putting together physical learning packs that have been taken home, and making their lessons available online via Google Classrooms.
Some of our pupils don't have access to Wifi or a device at home that can be used to access their lessons, and so we are raising funds in order to pay for mobile WiFi hotspots and / or a tablet device which are essential in allowing them to continue the high quality learning in these uncertain times.

5 years agoWe have continued to roll out IT equipment for use by students across our schools. We have now had a total of 68 Wifi Hotspots delivered - all purchased with the kindly donated funds, and these are being distributed to our schools, with Henley Bank, Five Acres, Gloucester Academy and Blaise, already having taken delivery. These WiFi Hotspots in conjunction with the loan of school owned computers (that would otherwise have been gathering dust), means that we can enable students to continue their learning during these uncertain times.

5 years agoThe support we've been getting with our fundraiser is amazing! Today this has allowed the purchase of 60 additional mobile WiFi hotspot devices, which will be distributed across our schools and out to pupils in the coming week. We have also seen our schools loaning out school owned laptop and desktop computers, combined with the WiFi hotspots they will now be able to continue their learning while confined to their homes. Thank you once again to all those that have supported us.

Best of luck - I hope your students and staff are safe and you've been able to continue providing the support and care that I know you've always been amazing at. Very proud of what you're doing.
