As an unconventional valentines day present, I bought my wonderful partner a bungee jump experience. He is being amazing enough to do it for the wonderful Green Patch. Scott will be jumping 160feet (Blimey!) to raise money for this wonderful community project. The Green Patch is a community allotment on the Grange estate in Kettering. It offers sessions for disabled children and their families at weekends, after school and as holiday clubs. It is a wonderful place full of love, understanding, diversity and fabulousness!

Oliver, our eldest, has been attending The Green Patch for over ten years and we cannot express how much he has grown since he has been there. It has helped him with his social and communication skills, his independence and he has made some friends for life. It is also completely accessible for his mobility.

We cannot emphasise how important the Green Patch is for families that have children with additional needs. For the individuals but also for their families as it brings people together as part of a community and everyone thrives together.
