I'm raising £750 to support The Rwanda Appeal

Story

I am running for one of our school charities, which is The Rwanda Appeal. Godfrey Karema, from Rwanda, came to visit our school earlier this year. He is the founder of the Dufatanye organisation, which supports families living in poverty and who are still suffering from the consequences of the 1994 Rwanda Genocide.

The Rwanda Committee in school aims to support Godfrey’s community by fundraising in order to provide the village with food, toilets, mattresses and water fountains. These are things that we take for granted on a daily basis. A mere £5 will feed a child for a month in Rwanda. Thank you for supporting this initiative with your donations.
