GYFA is a football and youth development charity founded in 2014. We operate a football academy in The Gambia where we currently train 70+ boys ages 8 -18 years old in football and life skills. This summer we are excited to launch our GYFA LDN league. We are also preparing to launch the girl’s arm of our project in 2022, Girls of Golden Youth (GOGY), which will focus on life skills and a healthy lifestyle through football for Gambian girls. The money raised through this platform will go to fund our longterm project of creating a centre for our football and lifeskills training. With this money we will be able to secure land in The Gambia, clear and fence, lay a football pitch, and build a multipurpose skills training centre for off-the-pitch workshops and training sessions.
