Ben. Curtis, Eddie, Jack, Jonny and Lee are running the Liverpool half marathon on Sunday 26th March.

We would love to raise money for two charities that are very close to our hearts. We would like to split everything we raise between the Alzheimer’s society and Jordan Sinnott foundation trust

The Alzheimer’s society is a vital source of support and a powerful force for change for everyone affected by dementia. By 2025, 1 million people will be living with the condition in the UK, and many millions more carers, partners, families and friends are affected.

The Jordan Sinnott Foundation Trust’s mission is to to support vulnerable and under privileged children and young adults to access healthy recreation and ensure that they have the opportunity to fulfil their potential and enjoy the life changing benefits that comes from sport.

We all have different targets.

Jonny the only previous runner of the Liverpool half marathon will be aiming to beat his last time of 1hour 50minutes.

Jack who has previously completed a marathon will be looking to set a strong pace and would be the Bookies favourite to get over the line first.

Ben and Eddie are the wildcards, Ben a Golcar United legend and a recently retired semi pro footballer, obviously has good credentials, injury withstanding. Eddie seems to be able to run like Forrest Gump and after a beer or two keeps quoting ambitious targets.

Curtis and Lee will be delighted if they can make the finish line before the roads reopen and whilst the livery bars of Liverpool are still open.
