I'm basically fundraising for the Paediatric department at the Gloucester Royal Hospital.

My partner Lizzie is a paediatric nurse at Gloucester and I know how hard all the nurses work in what can sometimes be a very challenging environment.

We've all heard the recent press stories about the NHS funding issues, well all I'd like to do is raise a little bit of extra money (£200) to help them buy a bubble machine, a projector and some DVDs for the department. These will really help to entertain, and distract the kids as the nurses triage them.

This will be Lizzie's first half marathon, and my first in fancy dress!

Anything you can give, even if it's just £1, would go a long way to helping out these brave kids and hard working nurses.
