I am doing a sponsored half marathon Winter Walk on 19 January and looking to raise some much needed money for Binfield Dog Rescue (binfield.dogrescues.org)

Having helped out at Binfield Dog Rescue I have seen the amazing kindness that Brian and his helpers offer these dogs. Brian survives solely on donations of food for the dogs and money to help pay for vet bills and upkeep of the kennels. He works tirelessly to find these beautiful animals their forever home. So many of these dogs would have been put down or living terrible lives if it wasn’t for Binfield.

Binfield Dog Rescue has been finding homes for unwanted, abandoned and stray dogs since 1966. They take in dogs from people that can no longer look after them, and unclaimed dogs from council pounds located anywhere in the UK. Many of these are Staffordshire Bull Terrier type dogs and Rottweilers because the rescues local to the pounds will not find homes for this breed of dog. They do not import dogs from Ireland or other countries outside the UK.
