Hi Everyone

Just to let you know I'm off to Ethiopia in November working with street children,who from a young age are living on the street to fend for themselves, who have to search through rubbish bins for food and who are also at serious risk of harm from both sexual and physical abuse .

I'm travelling with colleagues from work and the charity Retrak, who's mission is that no child should live like this;

I've got my place but have to fund raise to secure it. Over the next few months I will be holding events in order to do this.

It's all about the children and helping to give them a better life.

I'm so looking forward to it and I'm sure it will be life changing.

As a charity, Retrak relies on donations and sponsorships to fund their programmes. Small amounts can make a big difference! Even a small amount can help transform the life of a street child.

For example:
£7- a blanket for a child
£8 - access urgently needed medical treatment
£25 - a week of meals
£35 - a child’s school uniform and books, allowing them to complete their education.
