I've raised £2000 to ensure we can cover costs involved in creating our tenth edition of GIFT - as an online, digital festival experience.

Gateshead International Festival of Theatre (GIFT) is a dedicated, annual contemporary theatre festival for North East England
This year, the devastating impact of the coronavirus, worldwide, means we can’t be together in person in Gateshead. But we won’t be beaten. Instead, we are bringing you an action-packed digital re-imagining of GIFT, from Friday 1 to Sunday 3 May, to connect artists and audiences, to share, and inspire creativity.
Brilliant global artists will showcase over 30 events and performances, in a thought-provoking ten year anniversary programme of thrilling contemporary theatre, dance, talks and workshops.
By kindly contributing a Pay What You Decide donation for your digital tickets for this year’s festival, you will be providing crucial support to GIFT at this difficult, uncertain time.
For context, GIFT is funded on a project by project basis, with no regular core funding - which means your donation is even more valuable to us.
Any contribution, however big or small, is hugely appreciated.
We have exciting UK premieres and an eclectic programme exploring human connection, surveillance, resilience through crisis and international identity. We’ll share piercing human stories, build empowering creative networks and discuss big ideas for the future.
Come and join the action, from the comfort of your armchair on www.giftfestival.co.uk and share your voice in festival conversations @GIFTfest.
Thank you so much for your support.
