We are planning on building a funeral facility and providing a mortuary service for the Muslim population in the Accrington area. We are constructing a new funeral house which will join on to the newly built Masjid, making it easier and convenient. The total cost including all the facilities will be approximately £150,000 and we ask for your kind and generous donations to enable us to fulfil our wish and serve the community.

The old terraced house will be demolished and a new 2 storey building will be constructed, which will be fully furnished and comprise of a fridge and washing area including all the ghusl facilities and all the necessary equipment required.

It will help the local community as it will be a one stop service, rather than having to go to different areas in neighbouring towns to make this happen.There will also be a viewing area for both men and women of the bereaved families so they can mourn in private.

Please help us in raising the fund so that we can make this extension onto the current Masjid and have our own funeral facilities for the local community.
