We are crowfunding to send our amazing England squad gymnast Eleanor Green on an University Scholarship in USA. 🤸🏼‍♀️

Eleanor attends the Tameside School of Gymnastics, a small club run out of a council run centre in Hattersley, South Manchester. Hattersley is a deprvied social area and the club provides sport and opportunities for the local community, having Eleanor as a role model is visibility of how sport can help young people.

Eleanor worked her way up through the club, completing all her compulsory grades and gaining qualification for British championships which she competed in as a junior gymnast in 2015/2016 then after almost a year out of competition due to a serious injury to her knee Eleanor‘s hardwork, drive and determination saw her back fit and on top form for her senior British Championships Debut in 2018; finishing 18th as a first year senior, placing 11th on beam and 15th floor... an amazing result for Eleanor and her coach Cerys Allen💫

Aside from Eleanor’s amazing talent, she is huge a role model to all girls at the club. Often supporting the younger squad members with advice, showing that gym can still be fun even at the extreme levels of commitment that being a successful national/international gymanst requires.

Following her longstanding membership of the England squad (2015 onwards) She has recently been selected for her first international representation this autumn in Slovenia.

Eleanor‘s ultimate dream is to gain selection for the British squad and represent team GB 🇬🇧 at a major international before heading off to the USA where she hopes to combine her further academic education alongside competitive gymnastics in 2021.
