I'm raising £2,000 for a health/medical issue …..

We are fundraising for my friends daughter.. she is a type 1 diabetic and after a number of years being in an insulin pump hers has malfunctioned and is no longer working.. after reaching out to the manufacturing company they have confirmed it is a technical issue and the pump is broken...

As you can imagine.. a child wearing a pump on her body for 2 and half years there is some wear and tear to the pump, the company are stating that the wear and tear is an impact on the internal damage and will not replace, there for her parents are now at the foot of the cost at replacing this life saving equipment to keep their daughter alive.... she is currently on injections but as you can imagine 4+ injections a day is hard for any child, especially a teen in high school having to do injections in the school canteen, which she is not doing due to being in public and then forgetting to do it afterwards, this is having a massive impact on her blood sugars which can later on in life affect her organs .... please can we just help release a little bit of pressure off the parents and come together to purchase a new pump .... many thanks
